Little John (Sometimes referred to as Little Trump) is a prominent character appearing in the majority of the videos of Home Design. He is usually seen with brown hair, pale skin, a green and red flower shirt and pants, brown eyes, brown shoes, and a tattoo on his right arm. He mostly appears to be a very hardworking but is also very poor and spends his money in impractical and bizarre living spaces.
Relatives[]
Little John has multiple relatives, including his wealthy aunt, uncle, his donkey/horse that runs away from home, his pet tiger (often referred to as “Kitty”) his pet eagle, his unnamed dog, his roaches, and his dead grandmother. He also has a wife named Emily, but she is not seen in every episode. He had a father who kicked him out of his house due to him wasting all his money buying models.[1] Not much else is known about Little John’s family.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Little John's past and origins, his full name is currently unknown. He was born at an unknown date in an unnamed hometown somewhere in China (which later got destroyed), He also had a childhood American eagle of unknown origin which appears in some episodes. He was probably raised in a lower class family as he was shown to be quite poor.
Little John has always moved bricks as his main occupation, as well as owning his own barbeque beef stall. At one point, he married a woman named Emily and eventually had kids, the total number of his children is up for debate as it is shown that he has anywhere between 1 billion to 1.1 trillion. (unconfirmed) Although he has saved large amounts of money, he can only manage to afford abnormally small apartment rooms, the smallest being 0.00 centimeters. Little John will often use galvanized square steel and eco-friendly wood veneers due to them being strong and durable materials in his designs to turn his apartment into a fully functional house. In an episode of Home Design, he has been known to be working since he was 18 years old to earn money but he went from having nothing to heavily in debt and he had to work in a Begger gang. Fortunately, his auntie appreciated it so she gave him an apartment, but as expected, his room was not even big enough for his foot.[2]
In a Home Design episode posted on May 23, 2024, we see that Little John and Liam know how to skydive. It is also seen that instead of moving bricks, Little John also sells steamed buns and owns a barbecue beef stall. In another episode, Little John and his friends are avid e-sports gamers, often making Alice and their wives angry. He built a secret gaming base so he can continue gaming with his friends. In another video posted in June, Little John apparently knows how to fly a helicopter, so he may have a professional pilot's license.
He was once kidnapped by aliens and was left stranded on the moon where he built a makeshift house but somehow got back to earth a few days later.[3]
An episode released on June 26, 2024 revealed that he eventually sold all of his previous coffin houses and small apartments he used to live in, which he exchanged for a single 200 square meter house[4].
Little John once had an affair with the secretary whilst being the CEO of a company. [5] Because of this, Little John broke up with Emily and went on a soul-cleansing journey to Tibet, however his car broke down but he managed to find a place to live in an oil tanker. [6] However, Little John is seen again as a personal tutor for Emily and Alice. [7] Despite this, he was seen again with Emily in a Home Design episode.

Personality[]
Little John is portrayed to be a determined hard-working man. This is due to the fact that his occupation is a brick mover, and he has done this for decades. Even though Little John worked really hard and saved a lot of money, he usually ends up with extremely small apartments. Even with these obstacles, Little John will always find a way to turn these into a fully functional home. This serves an example to us to be diligent and work hard. Be like Little John.

Little John has unknowingly committed various crimes throughout his life. These include:
- Illegal Construction/Modification of Property (Expansion through the windows)
- Concealing Illegal Assets (Hiding grandpa´s money)
- Illegal Possession of Exotic Animals (Little John´s Cat)
- Illegal Avian Invocation (Invocating eagles)
- Poaching (using eagle´s golden eggs[8])
- Domestic Violence (All fighting that occurs throughout the episodes)
These crimes don't represent any problem for Little John, as he is a very good citizen.
Trivia[]
- Little John is presumed to live in either Shanghai or New York due to the setting of the Home Design videos, and the mention of the Narrator in the start of each video. We are not sure where he actually resides though.
- Although described as little, John is seen to be more than 5 foot in height, and his age is most likely in his late 20's to mid 30's.
- The crimes committed by Little John can grant 6 to 39 years in jail, he is still normally appearing in most Home Design videos. Little John may be a fugitive or a wanted criminal.
- This is partially proven as he is seen on the run in some episodes.
- Little John loves watching Korean dramas, every time he builds a new functional home, he watches shows on his projector and a projector screen. Most movies shown on the projector are seen to be K-dramas.
- Little John and Liam know how to skydive.
- Little John showcases fertile immunity. This can be confirmed due the many children he had. He even has times where he accidentally had kids. (The most children Little John had at once has been 1 trillion children)[9]
- Little John is capable of using a long lost martial arts secret Buddha Palm.[10]
- Due to the number of kids Little John has, he and Alice have the record for the most children ever, absolutely smashing the previous record.
- Liam is confirmed to be one of Little John's best friends
- Little John has been shown to have a skill in barbeque, even owning his own BBQ beef stall on a pedestrian heavy street.
- He might be Chinese as he was raised in Shanghai and has subtle Chinese references as seen in some episodes.
